I am so glad that the weather is so nice today! It's about time!! Hopefully it sticks around for awhile because this whole back and forth with sunny days and rainy days is driving me, the kids and the dogs crazy! I think we are all ready for summer. The kids had a nasty cold the past couple of weeks, which they so kindly passed on to me so we have been staying at home for the past little while. Korbin probably had it the worst out of all of us, poor kid, he was already pretty congested from teething so when the cold hit it was like opening the flood gates! Snot galore, it was nasty! But thankfully the kids seem to be over it and the weather is getting nicer so we are spending more time outside. Peyton will spend all day outside, she won't even come in for lunch she insists on eating it out on the picnic table. So her and the dogs hang out in the backyard all day and get dirty and run around, which makes her super tired so she sleeps like a rock at night, which is awesome! Korbin likes to sit in the grass and pull up handfuls of it and it automatically goes into his mouth, so I am constantly grabbing it away from him. Every Sunday we take the kids down to the Jensen Nature Park down in Syracuse, they love it! We take Winnie with us and she gets to run around off of her leash. We would take Gus but seriously he is the biggest spazz when he is on his leash, he starts to hyperventilate and makes weird noises so we just leave him at home so he doesn't have an anxiety attack or something :-) ! Korbin went in to get his head scanned the other day, he is making amazing progress! He has to wear it 23 hours a day until the first of June and then it comes off! He almost got it off at his last appt. but the Dr. likes to leave it on until he gets to 8 months so one month left! His head looks awesome, the Dr. has never seen a kids head change shape as much as Korbin's has, so as much as I have hated having to put a helmet on him I am so happy that it has worked so well. We are looking forward to BBQ'S, swimming and maybe even some camping this summer! Hope everyone is enjoying the weather!
Here is a picture of Korbin's latest head scan. I am not sure how to get it any bigger :( . But the inner circle is the first scan that Korbin had right before he got the helmet and the outer circle is the scan he got just the other day. So his head has changed a ton!

That's great that he is getting his helmet off just before it gets too hot. He is such a cutie!
