Happy 4th!

For the 4th this year we spent the day up at my parents house. We got up really early and left our house and headed up to Clearfield to watch the parade with Hollee. Peyton had a lot of fun watching all of the floats go by, she got a little nervous when the emergency vehicles went by blasting their sirens, but she got over it pretty fast once she saw her uncle Bryan driving one of the firetrucks. After the parade we went up to my parents and spent the rest of the day up there relaxing and stuffing our faces with tons of food! Peyton thankfully went down for a nap, I was worried she would stay up all day and then by the time we were ready to light fireworks she would be a grouchy beast! But she went down and did really well all day long. She got to eat lots of junk food and run around and do whatever she wanted. We were worried that she would be afraid of the fireworks but she did awesome, as long as someone was holding her she was fine. We didn't get home until late on Saturday night and Peyton did not wake up on Sunday morning until 11 am, o she was pretty wiped out. On Sunday we headed up to Logan to have another party at Deven's uncle's house with all of his family. So Peyton got to do the whole thing over again, only this time she was surrounded by all of Deven's cousins, so there was a ton of kids for her to play with! We didn't get home again until late so we were ready for a break on Monday. We spent the day relaxing and have no big plans for the rest of the week.
