Last Friday we went to the Draper Days rodeo. I have lived in Utah since 96' and I have never been to a rodeo before so Deven was pretty excited to take Peyton and I. Things started off with mutton bustin', which was hilarious! I want Peyton to do this when she gets older, I think that she would do an awesome job riding a sheep! Then they had bare back bronco riding, which was really cool, I don't know how those guys can stay on the horses for that long. I enjoyed every single event, it was so much fun! Peyton loved seeing all of the animals but she had more fun entertaining the people that were sitting around us. She is definitely a people person! At the very end of the rodeo they did the bull riding and the first guy got flipped off the bull and then stepped on, and then the second person got flipped off and his bull went crazy and job the fence into the crowd! It was crazy! This bull was huge, but thankfully no one got hurt. We had an awesome time and we are planning on going to a few more rodeos this summer. We didn't get home until about 11:30 and Peyton stayed awake the whole time and she had not had a nap that day so he was pretty tired the day after.
Today was my 28 week check up. I am so ready to be done being pregnant but I still have a ways to go! The baby looks great still and e has a very strong heartbeat which is always reassuring to hear. Over the past few months Deven and I have been talking about maybe electing to have a c-section and getting my tubes tied at the same time. We are also planning on moving back up into the Ogden area before the baby is born, so driving from Ogden to my Dr.s office up on the East Bench of Sandy once a week would be a pain in the butt! I talked about all of this with my Dr. and here is what we have decided. I am not going to have a c-section unless I absolutely have too, and my Dr. doesn't like to do a tubal ligation right after delivery due to a risk of infection. So instead we are just going to have Deven get snipped, since it is a less invasive and cheaper procedure. Also my Dr. is going to induce me 2 weeks early so I don't have to worry about going into labor at home and then have to drive 45 to an hour to the hospital. my Dr. is awesome I love her! So my due date was October 7th but now I will be induce no later than September 23rd. So here comes another September baby which is awesome because my older sister is due September 6th so our baby's will be even closer in age!

Have you considered an IUD? You can have it in up to 5 years and have it taken out anytime if you decide you do want more kids. I have one and it is great. I would recommend the Mirena
