The Sorensen's: Last Week....

Last week Deven went and stayed up in Logan to help out his uncle' at their furniture store. I hate staying home alone so Peyton and I headed up to my parents and stayed with them. On Monday Hollee and Bryan went with Peyton and I to the zoo. The weather was perfect! It was not raining and it was not hot so all of the animals were out. Peyton is a lot more fun to take to the zoo now that she is older, she actually likes to look at the animals instead of all of the kids that are running around. She had a lot of fun watching the elephants, the bears, and the orangutans. Plus Hollee and Bryan were there and she loves to be with them! The rest of the week we hung out at my parents house, it rained almost everyday so we didn't get to spend a lot of time outside. We went for a walk with my mom down at the nature park in Syracuse, but the rest of the week Peyton had fun running around Grandma and Grandpa's house and getting into everything that she could. We came home on Friday and we spent the day Saturday hanging around the house. Deven and Peyton were both worn out from the week so they fell asleep on the couch together. On Father's Day we went up to see my dad for a little bit and then we headed back up to Logan to hang out with Dev's side of the family. Peyton loved jumping the trampoline and we had a hard time getting her off to eat dinner. This week we are hanging around at home, yesterday we went and bought Deven an I Phone, that he loves! He has never had a nice phone because he always breaks them but now that he is not working in a warehouse he can have a nice phone and not have to worry about breaking it the next day....I hope. Peyton is learning new words everyday, her new favorites are, "Awesome", "Oh Geez", "Holy Cow", and "I'm Crazy". She copies everything so we have to watch what we are saying or she will pick it up and add it to her ever growing vocabulary.

I had a Dr.'s appointment last week and the baby is doing great. He is kicking my butt, but at least he is healthy! He is very big, I am measuring 2 weeks ahead of my due date but my Dr. does not think that my dates are wrong she just thinks that I am going to have a big baby boy, so lucky me! I am a human garbage disposal, I am eating everything I come in contact with it seems! I feel so gross and huge so to make myself feel better I eat some more, I know it doesn't make any sense! Oh well though, this is our last baby so I am going to just try and enjoy the rest of the pregnancy and worry about losing the weight after he is born! My niece Haley has her 5th birthday this week so we are looking forward to her birthday party on Saturday, and the 4th of July is coming up! I love the 4th of July it is one of my favorite holidays so I am way excited! Since Bryan is a fireman with Clearfield city we are going to take Peyton to the parade again this year so she can see her Bryan on the firetruck. It has been nice having Deven at home with us, granted its not the best situation to be in, but we are enjoying spending time with him. He is still out looking for jobs, but there is one thing in particular that he is looking into. We still don't have all the information on how things will play out so I am going to wait to announce what it is. But it's something that will create a huge change for us so it is pretty exciting!
