I usually wait until the day after Thanksgiving to start ramping up for Christmas. I usually get annoyed when I hear Christmas music right after Halloween or Christmas decorations in stores on Labor Day. This year things are different. As you can see I have put up a Christmas background and there is Christmas music playing a full week before Thanksgiving. Deven and I put up Christmas lights last night and we are trying to decide when we are going to get our tree and if we will keep getting a real one or just buy a fake one. I am still trying to figure out what has changed my attitude I think it might be because the weather has been so warm and it doesn't feel like it normally does or what. But I am ready for the snow, and the cold weather. I love being warm and being able to have my windows open during the day but give me a break its a week before Thanksgiving and we have had 1 good snow storm and it the snow melted the next day! I got Peyton's big winter coat a week ago and she has no need for it because it is still 60 degrees outside! So bring on the snow we are ready for it! I say that now but once the snow comes and stays you will see a post with me complaining about how cold it is outside, but for now I am ready for the cold.
This past weekend we painted our master bedroom, so now every room but the laundry room is painted. I am very happy with how it turned out and now all we have left is to replace some carpet and the house will be ready to put up for sale and we can hopefully get out of here and into the new house! This weekend is the big BYU vs. University of Utah football game and Dev and I are just going to stay home and watch it. A few weeks ago Dev went hunting a few weeks ago and shot a turkey that has been sitting in our freezer waiting to be cooked. I am going to attempt to cook it on Saturday while the game is on and I am very nervous about it. I have never cooked a turkey before let alone a wild turkey so things could get interesting! I will take some pictures so you can see how big of a mess I make and hopefully it will at least come out somewhat edible, if not we will just have to order pizza I guess.
Peyton is still as crazy as ever. I can see 1 new tooth coming in on the bottom of her mouth but I am thinking that there are a few more that are working their way out. So she has been a little moody but it doesn't stop her from creating a path of destruction. We changed the 3rd bedroom in our house that used to be an office/ room we stuffed all of our junk into, and made it her playroom. Her toys were slowly taking over her room and our living room so we decided that giving her a playroom was the best idea. That room is constantly messy, I will go in and pick up the toys at night when she goes to bed and the next morning she runs in there and makes an even bigger mess than before. But she sure has fun doing it, she talk more and more each day so she is in there having conversations with all of her toys, it is so much fun to listen to.
Toys everywhere!
Her p.j.s are a little to big so her bottoms fall off and she ends up walking around the house without them.
Here is our room before we painted, remember that one of my quirks was hating folding and putting away laundry here is the evidence, laundry is everywhere just waiting to be folded.

Haha! I am just so excited for it caise I have a child now who can somewhat enjoy it!! That is why I am so "obsessed" with it! I love the color of your room, it looks really nice.
Is that a MyComfort bed I see in those pictures? I think your blog is the best advertisment for them than they have ever had!! =)
You always have the cutest blog backgrounds. I really like the Christmas one that you have now. I love that Peyton is such a whirlwind of activity, it makes me feel better knowing that Hayden's not the only one that can be out of control. I can't wait to get together and see how they interact with one another! Oh and I really like the paint color in your bedroom. I want to paint, but then I think about how a certain 1 year old who would like to help and I change my mind!
I love Christmas time too. And your background is so cute. Peyton is a busy girl! She looks like she has a ton of fun in her new play room. Your bedroom looks great!
OK! I love the room color! It looks great!! And you are so brave at trying to cook a turkey!! If I even tried to attempt it then it would burn and people would probably never want to eat turkey again!! I'm not the best cook... yet haha! Are you coming down this Sunday? You should and you should come to church with me!! I know you want too!!
