So I am grouchy and bitter and I have not posted anything new because of it! I want to have this baby already!!!! A few weeks ago I went from being at risk for pre term labor and told to go on bed rest for 2 weeks and now nothing has changed! Despite the fact that I completely ignored that whole bed rest crap and I have been on my feet all day everyday cleaning, and walking up hills and lifting heavy objects, you know things that you would think that would cause a pregnant woman to go into labor! Nope nothing! I had my 37 week appointment yesterday and I was 2 1/2 cm dilated and 85 % effaced, so nothing has changed in 3 weeks! Ahhh!!!! So I have not posted anything because I was hoping that my next post was going to be about our new baby. Everyone has been saying " well the baby will just come when he is ready" alright people, not to be rude but save it! I don't want to hear comments like that right now! So as of right now I am scheduled to be induced on the 30th, yeah that got pushed back a week but don't ask because it just makes me mad :) . So in the meantime we are just waiting and hoping that something will happen but we are planning on having to be induced again, which sucks big time but oh well. We are trying to figure out what we are going to name this stubborn little boy but I think we are going to end up waiting until we actually see him to decide. The middle name will for sure be Scott, after Dev's dad, but as for the first name we have a few choices. Turner, Corbin, Urban (Dev likes this one), and Jeter (I like this one). So we will have to wait and see what we come up with when he finally decides to show up!
On the 5th it was Peyton's 2nd birthday! Holy cow I have a 2 year old, it still is crazy to me that she is that old already! For her birthday we went with a bunch of family and friends to the zoo. Peyton loves animals so it was perfect. We got to see all the new baby animals, except for the baby elephant she wasn't out yet, so that was a lot of fun. The baby tigers were very cute and the giraffe was adorable! After the zoo we all came back home and had a BBQ and opened presents and had cupcakes. She had a lot of fun opening her presents this year and she had no problem making a mess of herself with the cupcakes. Last year she wanted nothing to do with her cake which was disappointing but she made up for it this year. Of course the candles had to be blown out first, she wanted nothing to do with those, which is a good thing. She has been so much fun and we feel very blessed and lucky to have her in our lives, she definitely keeps things interesting and very busy! The next big thing for her is going to be meeting her new little brother, hopefully she does ok with not being the center of attention all the time. Once we get her used to being a big sister and get our routine squared away it will be time to start potty training. I think she is ready now but things are going to be so crazy right after I have the baby I am going to wait until things settle down to really get going on it.
Not much else is going on with us. Dev is going turkey hunting this weekend and we are sitting around waiting for baby. I have the Halloween costumes ordered and we are looking forward to fall and pumpkin hunting and of course football and the baseball playoffs! Hopefully the Yankees will keep it up and go all the way this year! So stay tuned who know maybe I will post real soon about a new baby!
Having fun at the zoo
The freakin cute baby giraffe
Getting ready to blow out her candles
Digging in!
We have been going to the Ogden High football games this year, since Dev went to school there. Peyton loves it! This is her all dressed up and ready to go!

Happy Birthday Peyton!! As for the no baby part, sorry man! I don't blame you for not wanting to be induced, I was induced and it wasn't fun. I think I'd rather be pregnant for forever than be induced...okay, maybe not! :) But you know they say a good to go into labor is to well...I'll let you guess on that one! (wink, wink!!)
Oh man, waiting is definitely no fun. I don't blame you for your bad attitude! I went a full 40 weeks with no dilation, so naturally they induced me. It went fine, but still not the ideal situation. I'm sure you won't have to wait that long!
I'll be hoping for you that he comes out REAL soon! Hang in there! Cute name choices by the way!!
