I was hoping maybe this pregnancy would be different than my other 2, so far it is slightly different but not in the way that I wanted. I was hoping that I could just skip the morning sickness this time but it was just not to be. With Peyton I was throwing up pretty much after every meal, but once I threw up the nausea went away. With Elizabeth it was the same way. But with this baby I am throwing up a little less but I feel sick all day long, and it's to the point that nothing sounds good so I am hardly eating anything. Also I have not had a Dr. Pepper in about a month now because the thought of drinking one makes me sick, so that is a bummer! I have been drinking a lot more water so that is a plus, but everything gives me heartburn already so it has been a rough few weeks. I am hoping that all of this will go away in the next few weeks because it will suck if it is like this the whole pregnancy! We are still trying to get Peyton to understand that there is another baby coming but so far she is oblivious that anything new is happening. She has however picked up a new habit, she has noticed that I am throwing up a lot so she has been walking around the house making gagging noises which is pretty funny. I am debating on what to do the next few months with her, she is starting to show an interest in getting potty trained, she definitely loves to show us that she can sit on her potty on her own. But I don't know if she really is ready and I don't want to force it on her. I will ask her if she has to go potty but I don't really get a response and she doesn't really notice when she goes in her diaper. Also I am debating whether or not to move her to a toddler bed right now, I like having her in her crib because she can't get out. I know that when I move her to a toddler bed she is going to get up and start playing in her room instead of going to bed. But I think that getting her out of a crib now will be easier than after the baby is born because I will already be up at night with a baby I don't need to add Peyton being up late to that as well. So we have a lot of things to decide on and luckily we still have a long time before the baby gets here to get them done.
This was taken a few weeks ago at my parents house, this is the first time she really went out and played in the snow. She was not really a big fan.

it sounds just like my pregnancy. I am 5 months along and I still feel that way. I hope yours isn't like this for long!!!! I am so happy for you!!!
Speaking from experience...leave her in the crib as long as possible. Once they are in a bed the nighmare begins..It does make it a little tougher when you have another one on the way but it will make your life a lot easier!!
Hearing about your pregnancy sicknesses makes me sick :( I'm sorry honey! I hear that you're more sick when it's a girl - but since you already have a girl and you're more sick now, maybe it's a boy? And potty training and big-girl bed is always a task - good luck with that ;)
Seriously what's worse...throwing your guts up or feeling like you need to throw up 24/7?!?! Good luck with that and hopefully it'll be over soon.
I'm so sorry Amy! I really hope it will subside after the first trimester. Peyton walking around gagging DID make me giggle. To this day, Haley will still "gag" every once in a while when she brushes her teeth. Seriously, I don't know how many toothbrushes I will go through in the next few months. Bleh. Well, I am back from Seattle, so I will call you soon! Hope you had some good finds at the online Old Navy sale!
