Today was Peyton's 18 month check up and everything looks good. The doctor said that she is developing perfectly, which is always nice to hear. She did pretty good, she was not shy and she was very talkative. She showed the Dr. all of her books, and she of course had to show him her belly button. He said that it is pretty obvious that she likes to be the center of attention, and he got quite a few laughs at the things she was doing. She let him check her ears, and her heart and lungs and nose but when it came time to check in her mouth she was not having it. I had to hold her head still and he had to open her mouth and when he got done she let him have it. She pointed her finger at him and started yelling "no no no" he quickly apologized and she was over it like nothing had ever happened. He told me not to worry about potty training and that she will let us know when she is ready. After he left the nurse came in to give Peyton her shots. She only had to have 2 this time so that was nice. She did ok, she cried as she was getting them but once I picked her back up she was fine after she yelled at the nurse. So we are done with her checkups for another 6 months when she goes in for her 2 year appointment which is crazy, I can't believe she is a year and a half! Here is how she measures up:
Weight: 21 lbs, 15th percentile
Height: 31 inches, 30th percentile
Head Circumference: 19 inches, 91st percentile
So she is still small but her head is still pretty big!

Hahaha she's got a little attitude, eh? That is so funny! Sounds like she'll be a great big sister!
I only saw her once when your Dad was in the hospital and I think she was 6 months old! I can't believe how fast they grow?!?!
