Bowling

Last Saturday we decided to go bowling, we were going to go pick out pumpkins but since the weather was bad we chose bowling instead. We went to Fat Cats down in Ogden and it was way nice. I had been to the new movie theater down there before but I had never been to the bowling alley so I was surprised at how big it was! It was Dev, Peyton and I and my sister Darcy her husband Thom and her daughter Haley and my other sister Katy and her boyfriend Kyle. So there were quite a few of us. I had not been bowling since high school so I had prepared myself to suck big time! But since we had Haley with us we decided that we would get the bumpers so I did not suck nearly as bad as I would have had they not been up!

My parents and my little sister Katy are in California this week so Dev and I decided that we would come stay up at their house while they were gone since all of our friends and his family live up here. My parents house is definitely not baby proofed so it has been interesting staying here so far. Peyton is into everything and she has discovered lots of new things to climb on. So my days are spent chasing her around as she tried to open all of the cupboards and climb onto every piece of furniture she can get to. We also decided this week that we needed to find our Yellow Lab Cooper a new home. He just needed more attention than I could give him so if he wasn't getting it he decided to instead chew on everything that he could, so now hat the majority of the base boards in our house have been chewed and all of my flip flops have been destroyed as well as most of the show laces on my shoes. He was a good dog but he needed someone who could devote a lot more time to him than I could since I am so busy with Peyton. So one of our friends sisters has taken him in and so far things are going well. So now I can repair the damage that he caused and we will be not be getting another dog until we have moved into a bigger house that has a yard! We miss him but it is a lot easier to get things done now that he is gone, Peyton is not getting run over by him all the time and she doesn't have to fight him for her stuffed animals anymore and Gus doesn't have to get attacked by him every 5 seconds or fight him for my attention.
