Long time no post!

Hello again! Deven was just telling me last night that I have not updated the blog in a long time so I thought I should get on and at least fill people in on what has been going on! We went up to Bear Lake a few weekends ago with Deven's family and had a blast! My camera was being weird so unfortunately I did not get any pictures : ( , major bummer! We went hiking in Minnetonka Cave, which was way cool, I don't really recommend doing it if you are 31 weeks pregnant though, there are a lot of stairs! But the inside of the cave was really cool. Deven has discovered a new hobby that he loves, paint balling. So he bought himself a new paintball gun and has been going every weekend that he can! My older sister Darcy had her baby! She was not due until September 6th but she decided to go into labor a few hours after her baby shower her little boy was born on August 16th! His name is Adam Lawrence Beech and he is so so cute and is such a good baby so far! She had him at 37 weeks but he weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz. so it is probably a good thing that he came early or she would have been pushing a much larger baby out! Peyton's birthday is not this Saturday but the next, and I can't believe it! It seems like just yesterday that I was planning her 1st birthday party and now she is going to be 2! Where has the time gone? So far the plan is to take her to the zoo on her birthday to see all the new baby animals and to have cake and ice cream later on when we get back. We are not doing anything fancy or big this year, there is just too much going on to have a big blowout party. But Peyton loves animals and she loves going to to zoo so she should enjoy what we have planned. She is also getting 4 new teeth all at the same time again, so she has not been her usual happy self. Hopefully they will come in fast and she can get to feeling better. I finally ordered and received my baby bedding! It took me forever to decide what I wanted. But I found it on Ebay and I got a smokin' deal on it so that is awesome! It just came on Tuesday and I love it! It is so nice and soft so I know I made the right choice! I finished up buying all the rest of the stuff we needed for the baby so we are set to go. Which is a good thing given the news that we got today! I am currently 34 weeks pregnant and over the past few days I have been having some contractions and things have begun to feel a little off. On Sunday I had contractions strong enough to wake me up out of a pretty deep sleep (which totally sucks because I don't really get good sleep now anyway) and they lasted for a good 3 to 4 hours and happened every 10 t0 15 minutes. I didn't call my Dr. or go to the hospital because now that we live in Layton and my Dr. is in Sandy I want to make sure that when I go in it is the real deal, because with all of the construction that is going on it would be a pain in the butt to drive all the way out there for nothing! So I waited until my appt. today to talk to her, and she decided that just to be on the safe side, to check to see if I am dilated at all. Surprise! I am dilated to a 2 and 80% effaced which is more than I ever got when I was pregnant with Peyton and she was born at 40 weeks and 2 days! So apparently I could go into labor anytime and if I do they are going to try and stop it because I am not 36 weeks yet. So hopefully I can make it to 36 weeks but I am kinda getting the feeling that we will be seeing this little guy soon! So that is what is new with us! I will try and get some good pictures in the next little while and post them, and I will for sure get some good ones of Peyton's birthday! Who know maybe next time I post it will be announcing the birth of our little boy!
