A date?

Deven and I are supposed to be burning up in the hot Las Vegas sun right now but we decided at the last minute not to go. The money for the trip can be better spent on other more "practical" things. Being an adult with responsibilities can suck sometimes! But we are still going to have a fun weekend. Tonight Dev's mom is going to watch Peyton and we are going to head out for dinner and a movie! Not that big of a deal to some people, but we haven't been to a movie in a long long time so it's a huge deal for us! We are going to try and go see a movie every Friday for the next 3 weeks, simply because there are 3 movie that are coming out that we want to see. So tonight it will be the new Star Trek movie. We are not huge Star Trek fans but the movie looks awesome so we figure why not go see it!Tomorrow we are going to head up to Park City with my sister Darcy and her hubby Thom to do some baby clothes shopping! Since we both had girls first we have plenty of little girls clothes to go around, but now that we are having boys we are starting from scratch. Everyone says that finding little boys clothes is hard so I am hoping to find some cute stuff, the biggest problem is that my baby is due the first week of October, and all of the stores have their summer clothes out! But I figured I can stock up on lots of onsies and p.j.'s and buy some clothes for next summer and hope that he fits into them next year! When Peyton was first born she wore onsies all the time because she had a ton of them and she was constantly spitting up so those were the easiest thing to change her in and out of so I figure you can never have too many of them.

Love this store!

I am trying to figure out how to decorate the new baby's room. We have a black crib and changing table, and I have already decided on the room being a New York Yankees theme. I just am not sure how I want to paint it. So the next few weeks we will be brainstorming on how we want to get that room painted. Also Peyton is probably going to be moving into a toddler bed this weekend! I want to get her in it and use to it before the baby comes so we are just going to bite the bullet and get it done now! Hopefully she will like it and want to sleep in it and not just stay up at night and play with all of her toys. I bought a new diaper bag today and I am way excited about it! It looks huge so I am hoping that I will be able to fit everything that I need for Peyton and the new baby in it with no problems.

New Diaper bag!

We have decided on some possible names for the baby. We are pretty sure that we have one picked out but I want to do a little poll and see what everyone else thinks. So be sure and vote for your favorite name, up on the right side of the blog! The choices are Turner Scott Sorensen, Turner Jack Sorensen, or Sterling Scott Sorensen.

Love the new diaper bag! Very cute! And don't worry, it will be a breeze shopping for little boy clothes, I've never had a problem finding clothes for Hayden (just ask Brady)!

It's not hard to shop for boys...it's just that girls have sooooo much more to choose from than boys...it's ridiculous! Sounds like a fun time going to the movies. Enjoy!

I love the diaper bag!! And I love Carters! I put Max in onesies all the timne, but I also bought the long sleeve white onesies from Carters and put them under those, it looked pretty cute!!

And when we put Max in his toddler bed we just took most of the toys out for a few days, and let him get use to it, and then put them back, and it worked really well!! He still plays with them when he goes down for naps, but eventually he goes to bed.

Well have fun shopping and on your date!!
