Baby Animal Days

So today we went up to the American West Heritage Center in Wellsville and took Peyton to Baby Animal Days. Peyton is obsessed with animals so we figured we couldn't go wrong taking her somewhere with lots of baby animals. We stayed up at my parents house last night so that we didn't have to get up super super early to drive all the way up to Cache Valley. We still got up earlier than we usually do on weekends but it wasn't bad, my sister Darcy and her Husband Thom came with us so we picked them up and then headed out. Our first stop was the restaurant Angie's in Logan, I love that place the food is awesome and cheap and they have the best breakfast! After we stuffed our faces we drove up to Smithfield City Cemetery to put some flowers on Elizabeth's grave and then it was off to see the animals. Peyton had a lot of fun and she got to see baby rabbits, chickens, ducks, goats, sheep and cows. She tends to be a little rough with just about everything she comes in contact with so we had to be really careful when she pet all the animals so that she didn't love them too hard. But it was a fun day and we have decided that next year we are coming up again and we will have Peyton and Haley as well as the 2 new babies so it will be an even bigger adventure!

The biggest thing that happened this week was that we bought a new car. Deven's truck was about ready to die so we decided to trade it in and get something new. We drove over to Car Max, and looked around for awhile and we found 2 cars that we really liked. Deven wanted a truck and we found one that he fell in love with. It was a huge 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 with an extended cab. It had everything that he could want in a truck, I was ok with buying it but it was a huge truck and I was not really comfortable with the idea of driving it. Also the previous owner was a smoker so the inside of the truck stunk like old cigarette smoke so that made me not like it as much. We were going to buy it and were about 5 minutes away from signing all the paperwork but them there was some problems with the title of our old truck and the dealership was closing so we went home and were going to go back the next day and sign the paperwork and take it home. Well that night we got to talking and decided that we didn't really need a truck that big and that we should get something a bit more practical. So the next day we went and bought the other car we were looking at and this is what we got....

It's a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee and we absolutely love it! It has all the space that we need for when the new baby comes, and it drives great and I think it looks pretty great too! So far so good, if anyone needs to buy a car I highly recommend going to Car Max they have a ton of cars to choose from and they were so nice and extremely helpful. This week is full of birthdays for our family and this next weekend we are planning on going to the Tulip festival at Thanksgiving Point so hopefully the weather stays nice so there will actually be flowers to look at!

A quick little side note, so far the pregnancy is going great! I am starting to feel better and I have been enjoying being able to eat again! I still get sick in the mornings but it is not too bad. My next Dr.'s appt. is on the 22nd and I am pretty anxious for it. This will be the appointment where they will draw my blood for the quad screen test. This test was the one that first alerted us to the fact that Elizabeth had some problems. So I am anxious to get the results from this test, I will also get my paperwork to schedule my ultrasound where we find out the sex of the baby! We can't wait to find out what we are having, my sister is having a boy so we are anxious to see if we will be giving him a girl or boy to pal around with!
