So yesterday went great! The day started early, we drove in with Dev to work and dropped him off and then Peyton and I headed to my mom and dad's so we were up and out the door by about 6:15. Peyton stayed up all day long, she maybe got about a 45 minute nap yesterday so I was worried that she was going to be a grouchy beast by the time we got out to do trick or treating. But she did really well, she had endless amounts of energy all day long, I don't know if she knew that yesterday wasn't a normal day or what. We spent the day getting the food ready and doing some last minute grocery shopping. At about 6:00 people were already showing up at the door. Peyton got excited every time the doorbell rang, she would take off towards the door and would scream and laugh while all the other kids were getting candy. We went out to do some trick or treating at about 6:30 I could not believe how warm it was outside. I felt bad for Peyton a little bit because her costume was so warm I am sure she was cooking inside of it. Getting her costume on was much easier this time around, and she was not mad at me for putting it on her either which was nice. She tried to walk into every house that we went to but that's ok it was so much fun watching her walk around and get candy. It is crazy how much difference a year makes. Last year she was almost 2 months old and she just laid around and slept most of the time. This year she is running around, climbing onto everything, and talking up a storm! I am excited for next year because she will understand even more about what is going on.
Now we are looking forward to Thanksgiving, which is pretty much my favorite holiday!! There are lots of things going on with us right now. Everyone knows how much we want to move back up to Davis County to be back up by our family and friends. We were stuck though because with the housing market the way it is we would have a very hard time selling our house. However we found a housing company that we want to build a house through out in Clearfield that will sell our house for us! So we are hoping to get things moving and hopefully by this time next year we will be in a new house up in Clearfield!! Keep your fingers crossed for us!
Peyton and Haley having fun making root beer.
Haley kept sticking her hands in the mist that the dry ice made and Peyton copied her every move.
Haley was a very cute BYU cheerleader this year.
Peyton getting ready to go out trick of treating.
Having some fun with dad.
The butt of her costume, I loved it, it says "Lil Stinker"
We decided to spray paint a line down Gus' back to make him a skunk too.
