6 Wonderfully Weird Things About Deven

Alright enough depressing blog entries for me, onto happier thoughts! So when I got tagged to list 6 random facts about myself I enlisted the help of Deven to come up with 6 things. While we were coming up with the 6 things we kept rattling off the weird things about Deven. So I decided that I would dedicate a post to Deven's odd behaviors! Here we go:

1- He puts clothes in the freezer. For example, a while ago he was asking me one night where his black basketball shorts were so that he could wear them to bed. I replied that they were in the dryer and that they are probably already dry but they are going to be really hot so just wait about 20 minutes and you can put them on. Well that was not the right answer, he walks into the laundry room grabs his basketball shorts out of the scalding hot dryer, and runs them to the freezer and shoves them in. Then he waits a few minutes, all the while standing in the kitchen in his underwear, pulls them out of the freezer and puts them on. He has now decided that slightly frozen clothes feel awesome on a hot night.

2- His sandwiches have to be cut in a certain way, but not all sandwiches can be cut the same . I found this out a few months ago, I guess I had apparently been cutting his sandwiches wrong the entire time that we have been together, silly me! So if he is having a peanut butter and jelly, tuna, egg salad, and chicken salad sandwiches they cannot be cut. Grilled cheese sandwiches can be cut either straight down the middle or diagonally but if he has 2 both sandwiches need to be cut the exact same. Any deli type sandwich (defined by Deven as any sandwich that has miracle whip and mustard) can also be cut down the middle or diagonally but if he has 2 one needs to be cut down the middle and the other has to be diagonal.

3- He will not sleep with his hands or feet hanging off of the side of the bed because he is afraid something will reach up and grab him. Now Deven is a big guy, and he is really strong so I just think it is funny that he is still afraid that something is going to grab him.

4- He has to have his car keys in his front left pocket, his cell phone has to be in his front right pocket, and his wallet has to be in his back right pocket. It can not be mixed up at all or it bugs him.

5- He will never sleep with his back towards the door in his room, so we always have to arrange our bed so that his back will not be towards the door.

6- If he is in a bathroom that has a shower with a shower curtain he always has to pull the shower curtain open, because again he is afraid that someone can jump out and get him. He says he is not afraid he just has to be prepared. :) right!

So there you go that is just a taste of all the craziness that goes on everyday in our lives! I am sure Peyton is going to develop some weird habit of her own and we are very excited to see what they are!! So if anyone wants to write down some weird things about your significant other feel free it is a lot of fun and Dev and I have had a good time laughing at ourselves!
