Yesterday was the final home game in Yankee Stadium. Being a Yankees fan it was a sad day! I am so glad that I got to go to a game there this year. On TV they were showing clips of some of the great moments that took place there, and I am left thinking about how horrible it is that they have to tear it down! Leave it standing, make it a museum, there have been so many great things that have happened there, its freakin YANKEE STADIUM! Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Yogi Berra, Roger Clemens, Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez and many more of baseballs greatest players have called that place their home! Its just sad to see it all go away, no doubt that the new stadium will be great we saw it when we went out there in July and this place is massive! But it won't be the same, a new history will have to be written. So farewell Yankee Stadium, you will live on in our memories!
